This diploma programme is designed to equip students who wish to pursue culinary arts with fundamental skills and strong product knowledge, as well as the ability to perform and organize food production. It has also been specially designed to offer students an intensive hands-on learning experience within a challenging work environment during their work and study period. This course focuses on food preparation and cooking as well on several technical skills in kitchen setup and organization, food product knowledge, patisserie, and artistic skills. Also, it exposes the students to different cooking techniques in Western and Asian cuisines, and at the same time training them to be experts in the field of hot cooking, pastry, baking as well as butchery and garde manger. The learners will be trained to achieve a high degree of professionalism and to focus on the quality of the products and meet customers’ expectations.
